Park & Cemetery Cleanup for History Preservation Month

During the month of May many events are planned to promote historic places for the purpose of instilling national and community pride, promoting heritage tourism, and showing the social and economic benefits of historic preservation. Join us to cleanup and two family cemeteries at Mill Ridge Park. We will share historical information about the parkland and the families interred here.

We will provide the supplies and materials needed, plus beverages and snacks. Arrive by 12PM on Sunday, May 22, at Mill Ridge Park, located (GPS) at 12965 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch 37013. Look for three yellow flags and orange cones at the driveway entrance. Park in the grass lot along the gravel driveway. Wear clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor walking, lifting, and bending.

Friends of Mill Ridge Park is an Antioch-based nonprofit with a mission to enhance and advocate for Mill Ridge Park to strengthen the community in southeast Davidson County.
