Join us as we celebrate National Trails Day. Come out for your choice of:

Trailhead Talks 9-10am: Featuring information about Leave No Trace, map orientation, planning for a happy hike, and use of a variety of nature and hiking apps

Guided hike 10-11:30am: Hike with us along the moderate to difficult < 3 mile Blue and White Trails

Forest Bathing 10-11am: Sarah Champion from Forest Walk with Me will guide us in a nature connection and reflection walk along the Blue Trail (about a quarter mile)

There will be giveaways from Patagonia. Light snacks and beverages, as well as sunscreen/bug spray will be provided at the trailhead.

Originating at the Crossings Trailhead, the Blue Trail winds through a diverse mixture of pasture, grassland, and forest. Participants in this activity are encouraged to learn and share with other passionate naturalists in a beginner-friendly environment.

This section of trail is primitive in nature. Participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions and trail that may include sections with overgrown grass. Participants may wish to bring a small daypack for water/snacks. No restrooms onsite. Dogs are allowed, however leashes are required at all times.

Mill Ridge Park is a 622-acre regional park located in Antioch, TN and is accessible via Exit 62 from I-24. For this event, participants will meet at the provided coordinates, as this is the location for the newly established Crossings Trailhead ( at the intersection of Crossings Blvd. and Dana Way; located near Wirtgen). Expect to see three yellow flags and six orange cones indicating the parking area in a gravel lot. GPS: (36.035121, -86.636099) or Wirtgen (business).
