MY Outdoors: Birds and Builds

Join us at the park on the morning of Wednesday, July 24th for "Birds & Builds": a birding walk along our scenic yellow trail, where you'll observe birds and experience their captivating soundscapes with a knowledgeable expert.

After the walk, join us for a hands-on birdhouse construction activity. Whether for our park or your own backyard, it's a chance to create habitats for our feathered friends.

Wear sturdy shoes for uneven terrain and come ready to explore and build!

Sunscreen, bugspray, and snacks and refreshments will be provided.

*This is a MY Outdoors only event. MY Outdoors is Friends of Mill Ridge Park’s new outdoor mentoring program for youth. All youth (ages 10-14) are welcome to attend! To register, email Katherine at katherine@millridgepark.org.

Location: 12965 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch, 37013. Look for three yellow flags and orange cones at the entrance. Park in the grass lot along the gravel driveway. A portable toilet is available on-site.
