Join Us for Wild Wanderers: Crafting Paper Lanterns

On Wednesday, January 29th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, bring your kids (all ages welcome) to take a leisurely guided walk around Mill Ridge Park. Along the way, we'll read aloud from a children's nature-themed book, explore wildflowers and critters, and use binoculars and bird guides as we wander. After our walk, we’ll celebrate the Lunar (Chinese) New Year by getting creative and making our very own paper lanterns!

Meet at the Friends' House, marked by three yellow flags, at 12965 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch, TN 37013. You can park in the grass lot along the gravel driveway near the Friends' House. Please wear shoes suitable for uneven terrain. We’ll provide snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, and a portable toilet will be available onsite.
