Plant the Seed Workshop: Exploring the World of Chocolate

Let's Explore the World of Chocolate on Monday, January 6th from 2PM-3PM, with Plant the Seed!

Did you know that chocolate is not just a delicious treat, but it also opens up a world of learning possibilities? From pollination to fermentation, geography to culture, there's so much to discover!

At our workshop, participants will have the chance to learn all about the cocoa plant and how chocolate is made. It will be a hands-on experience where kids will learn how to make South American and Mexican drinking chocolate by grinding roasted cocoa nibs and crushing chilies.

We believe that learning can be fun, and what better way to learn than through the magic of chocolate? So, if you're looking for a unique and educational experience, this workshop is perfect for you and your family.

Please let Katherine Dennis know if you're interested in joining us by emailing katherine@millridgepark.org. We would love to have you be a part of this chocolate adventure!

Location: Meet at 12965 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch, 37013. Signage, flags, and cones will mark the entrance. A portable toilet is available onsite.
