Weed Wrangle

Join the Mill Creek Watershed Association and Friends of Mill Ridge Park on Saturday, March 1st from 8:30AM-12PM to remove invasive species at Orchard Bend Park in Antioch as part of the national Weed Wrangle® event. This is accomplished via hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants. 

Supervised by volunteer leaders in invasive weed management, participants can expect to learn about effective removal techniques and replanting with native species alternatives. 

Weed Wrangle®, is a one-day, citywide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from invasive species
