MY Outdoors: Cooking with Pumpkins

Join us on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, at 11:00 AM for a fun session on cooking with pumpkins! We’ll be working with two varieties—Wee-b Littles and Sugar Pies—which are grown and harvested right here at our pumpkin patch. These pumpkins are perfect for a range of recipes, including pumpkin pies, stews, soups, breads, roasting, and canning. We’ll also explore the different parts of the pumpkin, such as the rind and flesh, and how to use them in cooking. Bring your questions and any recipes or ideas for pumpkin dishes you’d like to try!

Located at 12944 Old Hickory Boulevard, Antioch, TN 37013 with flags and signage at the driveway entrance. Park in the grass along the gravel driveway.
